How to place Custom Orders TOP

Custom orders are a huge part of our business.  You can contact us with all of the details pertaining to your request.

Shipping Time & Costs

Custom orders take approximately 2 weeks to ship.  Special arrangements can be made if the item needs expedited.  Shipping costs will be added to your order.  My shipping cost table can be found under my Store Policies.
 

Sales Tax

All PA residents will have a 6% sales tax added to their order.
 

Payment

We offer Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Paypal.  We will also honor personal checks; however, the order will not be started until the check clears from the bank.
 
You will be invoiced directly from Nikki's Character Creations.  Your order will be started after payment has been made.
 

Cancellations

One the custom order is approved by the customer and shipped, it is non-refundable due to the labor hours and materials involved.

How do I track my order? TOP

Order Tracking

We know that you are excited to receive your special items!  We have created an order tracking page so that you can follow your order from start to delivery.
 
Please visit our order tracking status page and enter your order tracking number in the space provided along with your e-mail address.
 
If you lost your order tracking number, please contact us and we will be happy to e-mail it to you.
 
Delivery time is approximately 2 weeks.
 

What is the Return Policy? TOP

Return Policy

I take great pride in my artwork and inspect it thoroughly before it leaves my hands. I only give full refunds for the following circumstances:
  • If you did not receive the item and opted for insurance:
    • In this case, your refund will come from the Post Office.
    • Once you have received your refund, you may purchase a replacement.
  • If I made a mistake in personalization or custom work that was previously discussed:
    • Send the item back to me immediately.
    • I will either refund your money or send a replacement.
If you feel that something does not match your room decor:
  • You may send the item back to me at your expense.
  • You will receive a refund minus a 10% restocking item fee and the original shipping charges. 
  • This option is not available for custom work.  All custom work is non-refundable after it has been approved by the customer and shipped.

Please keep in mind that monitors can show different shades of the same color. In order to avoid color mismatches, please send a paint swatch or bedding sample for me to match as closely as possible. This option is only available for custom paintings.

How much will the Shipping Charges be? TOP

Shipping Policy

Your order will ship via United States Postal Service Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, unless otherwise stated. I will consider using alternative shipping methods. If you wish to review your other options for shipment, please contact me.
 
Please keep in mind that I am not personally responsible for shipments once I hand them over to the Postal worker. To avoid absorbing the cost of uninsured mail that is damaged or lost, I highly recommend purchasing my optional shipping insurance.
 
I ship to United States and Canada only.  Canada buyers must contact me for a shipping quote, as they are responsible for any additional shipping charges.  Please include your full address, item description and quantity. 
 
Up to $15.00      = $5.95
$15.01 - $25.00 = $6.95
$25.01 - $50.00 = $8.95
$50.01 - $75.00 = $10.95
$75.01 and Up   = $12.95
 
Sales Tax
A 6% sales tax will be added to all residents of PA only.

How long does it take to receive my order? TOP

Shipping Time

Most of our items ship within 2 weeks.  During the holiday season, the higer volume of orders and Post Office delays can push the shipping time to 3 weeks.  If you need an item sooner, please feel free to contact us and we will try to accomodate your request.
